William R. Larkin, Jr., M.S., R.Ph. Senior Vice President, Pharmacy Services |
Mr. Larkin, who has more than 20 years of experience in pharmacy management, joined GNYHA Services, Inc. in 1992. He was the Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations at Lenox Hill Hospital and served as the GNYHA Services, Inc. Pharmacy Committee Chairman for four years prior to joining GNYHA Services.
During his tenure at GNYHA Services, the pharmaceutical contract program has grown to a volume of over $900 million. As a group affiliate of Premier, GNYHA Services contributes significantly to Premier's Pharmacy Program performance in the metro New York area. Group purchasing, in tandem with a clinical services program offers the best combination of supply chain and clinical information and standardization programs to its members.

Elizabeth A. Shlom, Pharm.D., BCPS Vice President and Director, Clinical Pharmacy Services |
Dr. Shlom joined the GNYHA Services, Inc. staff in 1995 to launch the Clinical Pharmacy Program. She received her Pharm.D. and Bachelor of Science degrees from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science and completed clinical pharmacy residencies at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina and the UCSF Medical Center in California. Prior to starting at GNYHA Services, she was the Assistant Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services at Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut and had previously worked at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Medical Center in New York City.
Under Dr. Shlom's direction, the GNYHA Services Clinical Pharmacy Program has provided a range of value-added services to pharmacy group purchasing members. Some of these services include networking forums,educational programs, benchmarking and the sharing of "best practice" principles for cost-effective patient care. Other programs offered to member institutions include medication error reduction projects and assistance to hospital networks undergoing the formulary standardization process. Dr. Shlom also works closely with Premier's Clinical Pharmacy group, based in Chicago, and acts as a liaison in delivering Premier's programs to GNYHA Services member institutions.

Joseph Mislowack, M.S, R.Ph. Regional Vice President, Pharmacy Services |
Mr. Mislowack joined the GNYHA Services, Inc. Pharmacy Staff in March 2000. He came to GNYHA Services with extensive pharmacy management experience, having served as Associate Director of Pharmacy at Maimonides Medical Center for 10 years and, most recently, as Director of Pharmacy at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn for eight years. Mr. Mislowack also served as the GNYHA Services Pharmacy Committee Chairman from 1992-1996.
Mr. Mislowack is responsible for identifying and facilitating opportunities for health systems, as well as individual member sites, to reduce pharmaceutical costs through Premier contracts. As network facilitator, Mr. Mislowack manages the day-to-day exchange of information, contract implementation and formulary standardization.

Leila Tibi, Pharm.D. Assistant Vice President, Pharmacy Services |
Leila Tibi has worked with the GNYHA Services pharmacy team since 2003. Dr. Tibi is responsible for the provision of value-added clinical pharmacy services to the members of the GNYHA Services group purchasing program. Her responsibilities include providing health-system networks with clinical pharmacy expertise at monthly network pharmacy and therapeutics meetings, developing and delivering cost-savings opportunities through assistance with formulary standardization and facilitating clinical pharmacy initiatives. Dr. Tibi serves as a clinical pharmacy resource to members by providing drug information services, developing and executing medication use evaluations, pharmacy practice surveys, and resource guides. Dr. Tibi also assists in coordinating live and teleconference continuing education programs for members. Dr. Tibi earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Albany College of Pharmacy of Union University and began her career as a pharmacist working in both hospital and community pharmacy in Southern Nevada.

Prior to joining the GNYHA Services, Inc. staff in July 2000, Mr. Grish worked for Neuman Drugs as the Hospital Operations Manager, dealing with all aspects of institutional service issues and group purchasing organization interface. Other previous work experience includes 10 years as the Pharmacy Procurement Director at Wayne General Hospital.
